Private by design

Your library never touches a server you don't own.

Every user is their own Veilid node with a stable cryptographic identity. Friends are an explicit allowlist, and every browse and stream request is checked against it before a single byte leaves your machine. Remove a friend and their access is revoked promptly.

The plugin API is real enough that an enterprising user ported Doom in as a visualizer. Your spectrum analyzer can now rip and tear in time with the music. We did not plan for this. We regret nothing.
