One of the key pillars of Veilamp has always been that it's intended to be infinitely moddable and skinnable. Much like Winamp back in the day, we strongly encourage modifications and custom skins.... so much so that we've added in the ability to import mod packs, skins, and themes... and have done a lot of work to try to expose eveything needed to make high quality skins and killer mods.
The hope is sincere - that people will extend this in new and fun ways, create new looks that push the boundaries of what the UI could be… we WANT you to make it your own, to customize it, to enjoy it just as we hope you’re enjoying listening to your music with it.
In the near future we’ll be holding a competition for skinners and modders to develop their best idea for a skin / mod (or both!) - still working out what prizes will be and how to structure it… but keep an eye out because it’s coming!
